2 OPEN- SCHOOL EXTERIOR. CROWDS OF STUDENTS LEAVING SCHOOL 2
FADE IN:
Fast loud music plays. Credits roll. The camera moves form
WIDE-ANGLE/Low Angle running through the crowd to a high shot
static and finally to a long shot that features an attractive
couple walking against the flow. The girl is Arianna and she
is wearing her CHEERLEADER uniform. The male is Ash, a
handsome guy who has a thin, but ATHLETIC build. He has his
school baseball hat on. As the music fades we zero in on
them. They are arguing.
ARIANNA
...Friends.
Ash puts his arm around her. She reacts by pushing him back
ARIANNA
Ash, why don't you
understand I don't like you like
that. Last night was a big mistake.
ASH
What's wrong. We had a great time
last night.
REVERSE OVER THE SHOULDER TO ARIANNA
ARIANNA

She walks away as the camera pans to keep her in
frame...leaving Ash in the foreground as she walks away. Then
she turns around towards him and at a distance says

you can deal with that we can keep
being friends. Now come
on...Walker's teaching the class at
Pria's house tonight and you know
how anal he is about being on time.

She turns and walk away toward the car door.

around to the driver side

4 INTERIOR SCHOOL HALLWAY 4
Side shot as Ash enters frame from left. He's now in the
hallway of the classroom. Wes, a scruffy looking teen
approaches him from behind.
WES
Hey buddy. Why the long face?
ASH
Arianna....
Pria, a mousey unattractive girl with an arm load of books
enters the scene and takes ash by the shoulders. Interrupts
him before he can finish the sentence
PRIA
Likes you very much. Just give her
some time and don't push so hard.
Otherwise she'll just build more
walls around her. And you'll never
get through to her. Remember Ash,
your rep. proceeds you. Alicia AND
Kellie at the same time? How do you

ASH

He puts his arms around both Wes and Pria nad they exit the
scene to the right. Cut to Arianna farther down the hall,
just outside the class room door waiting for them to catch
up. She smiling and more composed now. As the group enters
from scene left, Ash again goes to put his arm around her.
Enter Yolonda from behind, a large athletic black woman in
her early 20's. She grabs Ash's arm and spins him around
towards her.
YOLONDA
Don't you ever give up? It's not
cool to keep hassling Arianna. You
had your chance. Get over it!
ASH
I just want to be friends. And
besides......
Yolonda cuts him off
YOLONDA

She makes a sign with her hands to represent sex

She walks right past them bumping Ash on the way
Camera cuts to a reverse inside the room looking at the door.
It opens and Yolonda is holding it as Arianna and Pria walk
through. They are whispering to one another
ARIANNA

soooo pushey. And what about his
rep.
PRIA
His rep. is a bunch of Bull. Can
you really picture him with the two
of them at the same time? He
wouldn't know what top do!
ARIANNA

probably right. He didn't even try

MS ASH, YOLONDA AND WES
Ash accidently bumps Yolonda as he is trying to lean in and
hear what the girls are saying. She stops, throws her books
down and pushes Ash against the wall as the camera pans to
follow her
YOLANDA
Hey! Watch it! There's more where

CU ASH
Ash in amazement.
CUT TO WS
The class is watching and Arianna and Pria quickly take their
seats. Yolonda picks up her books and turns towards the
camera. Ash slowly moves that way as well. Wes has his arm
around him.
WES
Better cool it man. Or Yolonda will
kick your skinny baseball playing
ass into tomorrow!
CUT TO MS OF CATHERINE, A CUTE GIRL SITTING ON HER DESKTOP.
Looks at Arianna, then turns back to Alicia
CATHERINE

CUT TO A SIDE SHOT
Yolonda, Ash and Wes pass by Catherine and begins to take
their seats. Catherine turns towards the camera, smiles and
waves.
CATHERINE
Hi!
THE CAMERA REVERSES
Ash goes to sit behind Pria who is behind Arianna. Yolonda
grabs him and pulls him out of the seat.
YOLONDA
Not there! There's an Ash free zone
around Arianna as of today. Catch
my drift.
She leans into him and grabs his shirt. Pulls him up and
tosses him into the next seat behind her.
ASH
OK I'm moving already.
The camera cuts to MS and follows
a shot of a sexy young girl coming through the door. She
passes seductively by each guy messing with him on the way.
She tips a baseball hat off one guy, strokes another cheek,
ETC. This is Jennifer. She is thin and very sexy. She sits in
the desk and trows her boot upon the top. Laughs and stares
around the room.
JENNIFER
Laughs. Licks her lips and smiles
at the camera.
REVERSE MS TOWARDS CATHERINE OVER ARIANNA
Catherine spins on her desktop towards Arianna.

Two girls come through the doors towards the camera

They both laugh

I hate night school it is so dark,

She turns around in a circle and sees nothing. Camera follows
her as she begins walking again still looking though her
purse with her head down. Cut to a WS as she runs into Fetzer
walking towards her.
TALIA

She falls to the ground. Reverse shot over Talia up at Fetzer
standing over her
FETZER

She turns her head away and hides her eyes

He walks off
TALIA
This school is full of weirdos
She quickly gathers her things and with keys in hand heads
for the car. It is the only car in the lot and is pooled in
the light of a single street lamp. She fumbles with the lock
and drops the keys. Cut to an under the car shot as we see
her bend and pick them up. Cut to a shot from inside the car
as she climbs in and locks the doors. She sighs relief then
slowly turns towards the passenger window as she hears a
strange sound. Suddenly Fetzer pops his head in through the
open window
